This is a former Holiday Inn Holidome, with indoor/outdoor pool and plenty of
space to mingle and converse, located in one of Ann Arbor's shopping and
eating strips.

The Best Western offers free continental breakfast, a full service
restaurant, lounge, indoor outdoor pool, exercise facility, whirlpool,
sauna. Guest rooms contain remote controlled television, refrigerator,
microwave, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron, and ironing board. The king rooms
also have a sofa bed. Ann Arbor Best Western Executive Plaza has plenty
of free parking.

It will not be necessary to rent a car for the duration of the conference. You can reach the Best Western Executive Plaza from the airport by Yellow Cab Taxi ($22 one way). If there are more than 3 folks in a party, can save money by reserving a minivan from Metro Taxi for $39 per van load.
Once you reach the hotel, there are several good restaurants within a brisk walk. A short cab ride puts you in downtown Ann Arbor, where there are many fine restaruants, microbrew pubs, jazz and folk clubs, etc.
The Best Western has a business center with internet connections open 24 hours a day. The conference will include wireless access in the main conference room from Monday through Saturday. Please bring your own wireless ethernet card. For presenters, computers will be available for use during your presentation. These will be equipped with Windows 98 with MS Office or Linux with OpenOffice.
For those of you coming early or staying late, Ann Arbor is a beautiful city with many offerings to entertain you. The downtown and campus area have some good brewpubs, excellent restaurants, jazz, folk and rock music clubs, professional, repertory, commercial and art movie theaters, and much more.
